I was appointed as a part-time Pastoral Support Worker in April 2023. The job involves visiting congregational members who no longer are able to attend services. My average week includes visiting care homes, hospitals and private homes. Sometimes during this time I administer communion, which is a humbling experience. I also phone people in between the visits.

I worked for the NHS for 40 years and after retirement worked at a school for children with special needs.

 

I attend Tipton Green Methodist church and am involved in their groups. I particularly enjoy my involvement in youth activities including Junior Church and Friday Fun Club.

I have recently revived my interest in crafting which I find creative but relaxing.
