I have been an accredited Local Preacher since 1991.  In addition to being a member of CLT, I am also the Circuit Tutor for Local Preachers on Trial and the Local Preachers’ Secretary.

I graduated from Birmingham University, having studied Physics and subsequently gained an MSc in Applied Nuclear Science. Following an early career in teaching, I entered the pyrotechnics industry full time in 1997.  My company stages large-scale fireworks displays the world over. 

I enjoy writing and make regular contributions to technical and popular journals featuring all aspects of pyrotechnics.  I’m a Member of The Institute of Explosives Engineers and am intrigued by the many scriptural references to fire and its symbolic and practical importance! Hebrews 12:28-29 is one of my favourites.
